It’s official—Taste of Puebla has moved to its new location in Kennett Square! Starting on Monday, September 16, you can find the restaurant at 201 Birch Street.
In celebration of their move and of Mexico’s Independence Day, on Monday the eatery will be serving up its signature dish, Chile en Nogada, as a dinner special, in addition to homemade margaritas. Three dessert specials will also be offered: Tres Leches (three milks cake), Flan & Buñuelos with vanilla ice cream.
As we’ve written before, here and here, Taste of Puebla, owned by Cristobal and Mariana Castaneda, gives diners an authentic Puebla food experience with an emphasis on using local produce in season and always the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats and cheeses. The restaurant’s homemade chips and salsas can also be found at farmers’ markets throughout the area.
Congratulations, Taste of Puebla! We look forward to visiting you in your new home in Kennett Square. The restaurant’s hours will be 11 a.m. to to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday (closed Sunday); phone: (610) 444-5085.
