Bethlehem beer lovers have a brand new place to grab a pint—Bonn Place Brewing Company. Located at 310 Taylor Street, the brewery officially opened on Thursday, November 17.
Bonn Place Brewing is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Sam and Gina Masotto. Sam has experience as a home brewer and worked professionally as an assistant brewer at Newburgh Brewing Co. in Newburgh, New York, for three years.
The building underwent extensive renovations and the result is a rustic tasting room with exposed brick walls, white subway tiles, wood ceiling beams and industrial pendant lighting. The tasting room will seat 12 at a custom built wooden bar with additional seating for 12 along the walls.
The opening tap list included Mooey Ordinary Bitter, Opus American Amber, Pig Tale Pale Ale, Tarte Blanche Sour Ale, Some Pig Upon Monocacy (pale ale with coffee), Scottish Breakfast and more.
Bonn Place Brewing Company is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4–11 p.m., Fridays from 3–11 p.m., Saturdays from noon–11 p.m. and Sundays from noon–7 p.m. For more information, visit Bonn Place Brewing online or follow along on Facebook.
