Get your holiday shopping on! Stop by the Black Christmas Craft Bazaar at Tattooed Mom on Sunday, Dec. 3, for handmade Christmas presents and decor made by more than a dozen local vendors. Plus, you can even get a picture taken with “Krampus,” the half-goat, half demon of your Christmas nightmares! ICA x YOWIE Holiday Pop-up (​Dec. 8–10)

The Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) is excited to kick off the holiday season with its annual pop-up, this time in collaboration with YOWIE, a super-hip home and lifestyle shop on Fabric Row in Queen Village. The pop-up will be located inside YOWIE’s storefront and​ will offer a curated selection of new and iconic older titles from ICA’s exhibitions over the past 50 years. You’ll also be able to peruse museum merchandise including signed catalogs, limited-edition artist-run totes designed by Nathalie Du Pasquierand and Alex Da Corte, signed exhibition posters from Barbara Kasten and more. You won’t want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind gifting experience. Join ICA and YOWIE on Friday, Dec. 8, for the opening reception from 6–9 p.m., featuring shopping, drinks and light refreshments. Handmade: Indoor Holiday Market & Philly Small Press Faire (Dec. 9)

Make your way to Fleisher Art Memorial on Saturday, Dec. 9, noon–5 p.m., to find everything you need on your holiday shopping list at Handmade! Artists and craft vendors are joining forces for an indoor market and DIY workshops for the holidays. You’ll find more than 30 vendors curated by Shannon Maldonado, founder of YOWIE; 25 Philly Small Press Faire vendors curated by cartoonist and faculty member Pat Aulisio; live music; a popcorn bowl fundraiser with ceramic artist Daniel Teran and Bridget Foy’s; free activities for kids; and a hand-drawn portrait booth. South Philly Handmade Brigade (Dec. 9)

Join the festive fun at the 12th Annual South Philly Handmade Brigade! This year, it takes place on Saturday, December 9, from 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Touted as the “best annual holiday party in South Philadelphia,” the Brigade is a shopping event featuring affordable and original artwork and gifts by local artists. Expect to find items including hand blown glass, ceramics, jewelry, clothing, housewares and more! The Brigade is also a great opportunity to meet and learn about individual artists in their studios at the 1241 Carpenter Street building. Enjoy snacks and drinks while supporting local artists and shopping for amazing holiday gifts for your friends and family. Admission is free. 1241 Carpenter St.

Punk Rock Flea Market at Bok (Dec. 16 & Dec. 17)

The Punk Rock Flea Market returns with a 2017 Holiday Edition at the BOK building! Over 100 vendors will be set up on Saturday, Dec. 16, and Sunday, Dec. 17, with different vendors on display each day from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. While there isn’t a formal list of vendors, if you’ve ever been to a PRFM in the past, you know the quality of vendors to expect. There is a $3 entry fee, which is good for both event days. The event takes place in the Boys’ Gym of the BOK building, which is easily accessible if you enter on Mifflin St. The BOK building is located at 1901 S. 9th St.

Holiday shopping doesn’t have to be a drag! Keep it local, and enjoy the satisfaction of supporting local artists and artisans while finding the perfect gifts for your friends and family.
