Sweet news for sugar fiends in Harrisburg: Anna Rose Bakery & Coffee Shop is now open for business. From a cute storefront downtown that opened earlier this month, the cafe is serving up a variety of delicious treats and coffee drinks. The entire range of fresh baked delights is tantalizing, including cupcakes, cinnamon rolls and galettes, but the highlight of the menu is the bakery’s made to order custom donuts.

Customers are invited to choose a sugar or glaze base coating for each donut, and then get creative with toppings (such as classic sprinkles, candies and bacon) and a gooey finishing drizzle. For over-the-top decadence, try the rotating specialty donut of the day or the temperature and textural sensation of a donut ice cream sundae. Regular and flavored coffee, as well as cold brew, blended frappe drinks and fruit smoothies round out the beverage side of the menu.
For special occasions, Anna Rose takes orders for custom cakes and catering.
