Don’t Miss This: The Wilmington Delaware Oktoberfest (Oct. 21)

October’s about halfway over, and if you haven’t had a chance to attend an Oktoberfest event yet this year, you’ll get another chance this weekend! The Wilmington Delaware Oktoberfest is taking place on Saturday, October 21, from 5:30‒11 p.m. Enjoy a fun evening of Alpine music from Alpenlaenders (along with some classic rock and folk interlaced throughout the evening), dancing, yodeling, a buffet dinner, a Schnapps bar, auctions and raffles and, of course, brewskis aplenty.

The Knights of Columbus is sponsoring the Wilmington Oktoberfest, and is hosting the event to raise money for prostate cancer research, which affects one in seven men in the United States and has the third-highest cancer death rate. In the past, the Knights of Columbus have donated to several worthy causes, including the Ronald McDonald House and the Special Olympics of Delaware.

For tickets, contact Raymond Cobb at (302) 547-6931 or [email protected], Rick Johnson at (302) 373-0077 or [email protected] or Bill Northey at (302) 798-8272 or [email protected].

Wilmington Delaware Oktoberfest will be held at St. Helena’s Masci Hall at 602 Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington.
