America’s coolest small town just got cooler with the recent opening of Slate Cafe, a brand new cafe in the heart of Lititz. This rustic-urban eatery first opened its doors on Saturday, March 10, after a 2-month renovation.
Owners and twin sisters Emily and Eryn McCoy dreamed of opening their very own cafe, but didn’t have a specific location in mind. When the former home of Spill Cafe became available, the pair saw that Lititz would be a perfect town for their vision.
Emily says, “We are so excited to be joining the Lititz community! We want people to come in and catch up with friends, take in the atmosphere or get some work done.”
The cafe on Main Street has indoor seating for about 30 guests and 2 small tables out front. The menu features soups, salads and sandwiches as well as fresh fruit smoothies and acai bowls. The breakfast menu is available all day. Check out Slate’s hours below and plan to stop in soon for banana pancakes or avocado toast!
