Exciting news for the Chadds Ford dining community: Chadds Ford Tavern will be opening its doors once again, with a reopening date set for Friday, April 6.
Some of the features of the soon-to-open Chadds Ford Tavern include an all-week happy hour happening twice each day (5–6 p.m. and 9–10 p.m.), and an extensive menu. Food options will range from sensational starters, such as the crispy pork belly and lobster mac and cheese, to casual handheld items, including tavern roast beef and jumbo lump crab cake sandwiches, to enticing entrees as the steak frites and ultimate seafood scampi.
Those seeking out their favorite adult beverage will surely not be disappointed with the expansive cocktail menu. Wines, ranging from robust reds to dazzling whites will be available by the glass or bottle of wine. For the beer fans, Chadds Ford Tavern will offer a wide array of beer offerings — eight beers on draft and 25 bottles — with a strong hold on craft beer options. If mixed drinks or spirits straight up are more to your liking, the carefully chosen spirits menu is sure to please.
The warm, rustic interior offers an inviting main dining room area, bar seating and additional dining room space, which is ideal for larger groups and private parties.

The grand opening celebration will begin at 4 p.m. with fabulous food, stellar drinks and live music. Guests will also enjoy acoustic music from 5–9 p.m., and then a DJ will take over the entertainment duties from 9 p.m.–1 a.m.
