Our first Hops for Hunger campaign is underway, and we are so excited to let you in on all the fun ways you can get involved (most of which include drinking local craft beer)! What is Hops for Hunger, you ask? This brand-new initiative is a partnership between Feeding PA, Breweries in PA and PA Eats, and it’s running throughout November. We’ve teamed up with local breweries in Pennsylvania to raise money and awareness around the growing need for hunger relief and nutrition education resources in our state.
All of the participating breweries have chosen which way they’d like to raise funds; some are donating a portion of proceeds from a specific beer, while others are hosting events. We urge you to head out to these PA breweries to support Hops for Hunger, and to support these local businesses that are stepping up and giving back to the community this fall! And if you’re a brewery that wants to join in, there’s still plenty of time! Head here for more info and to sign up to participate in Hops for Hunger.
