- Lay down a whole fresh pineapple on its side, and cut off the green top with a sharp knife.
- Stand the pineapple up, and use a sharp knife to cut off the skin in a downward motion.
- Cut the pineapple in half and lay it flat, then cut those halves into quarters. Remove the fibrous core from each piece.
- Slice each quarter into strips, then dice each strip into bite-sized pieces.
