After 15 successful years of turning out delicious breads, pastries and other sweet treats, Metropolitan Bakery is closing its doors at their Chestnut Hill location.
The bakery will sell it’s last goods at the 8607 Germantown Avenue store on Friday, January 11, at the end of the day.
Have no fear Chestnut Hill locals: Chestnut Hill Local reports that you will still be able to get all the great baked products when they open up a stand at the Chestnut Hill Farmer’s Market, located at 8229 Germantown Avenue. According to Metropolitan Bakery’s FaceBook page, they will open at the Farmer’s Market on Tuesday, January 23.
