Shopping, Parade & Tree Lighting

Kick off your holiday shopping in Kennett Square. Stores will stay open late every Friday night throughout the season. Plus, each year the holidays begin in Kennett with their Parade and Tree Lighting on State Street at 6:30 p.m. This year’s parade promises to be all aglow with festive lighted floats and vehicles, carolers, dance troupes, clowns, mascots, and Kennett’s own high school marching band. In addition, Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive to light the town tree. Following the parade, the children are invited to meet with the Clauses at The Kennett Flash for photos and a treat!
