Bravo to Dick Oelbaum, Founder and CEO of the So Fun! Frozen Yogurt, who recently announces the opening of his second So Fun! location, found at 315 East Lancaster Avenue, in the Wayne Shopping Center, next to Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
Oelbaum developed So Fun! Frozen Yogurt as a combination meal replacement and healthy treat. Offering 60 flavors of healthy frozen yogurt, with a rotating selection of 16 featured daily, a stop at Main Line’s newest frozen yogurt shop is a must. Recent featured seasonal flavors included Toffee Mocha, Peppermint Stick, Maple Bacon Donut, Eggnog, Red Velvet Cake and Pumpkin. Endless topping combinations can be created, as well, with 48 options including fresh fruit, cereals, cookies, candy and other fun. Servings are priced by weight. Most flavors are gluten-free.
Dutifully so, the frozen yogurt company exceeds the National Yogurt Association’s standards for 10 million live and active yogurt cultures per gram, and will range from 100 million per gram (for sweet flavors) to 300 million per gram (for tart flavors). The store will regularly offer for the health-conscious crowds at least one no sugar added flavor and one flavor for the lactose intolerant customer. So Fun! Frozen Yogurt is certified kosher.
So Fun! Frozen Yogurt stores are family friendly and festive, a party room doubles as “Stroller Central” an informal daily play group gathering place. Other fun details include a chalkboard activity for kids, regular appearances by The Cup Dude, So Fun!’s spokesperson and mascot, free birthday yogurt and customer photos rotating on flat screen monitors.
Store hours are Sunday–Thursday, noon to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday until 10 p.m. So Fun! Frozen Yogurt opened the first store at 3770 Dryland Way, in Easton’s Lower Nazareth Commons, this past spring.
