Have you driven by the parking lot at The Village of Eland and noticed something cooking? It’s Uncle B’s BBQ Smoke Shack, slinging serious Alabama-style BBQ from an oil drum smoker. Owner Brian Howell grew up and created his signature sauce in Florence, Alabama and perfected his delicious chipotle BBQ sauce and mouthwatering brisket rub in El Paso, Texas. This is real deal southern cooking located right in the heart of Phoenixville.
The menu includes pulled pork, smoked chicken and brisket sandwiches, as well as plates of BBQ chicken, wings and ribs. Sides of mac and cheese, cole slaw, chili and beans are delicious additions. Uncle B’s also sells their sauces and can provide catering for your very own barbeque.
Additionally, Uncle B’s provides some menu items to Fenice Creolo, located at 902 Village of Eland. Catch the hyped barbecue purveyor usually outside of Fenice Creolo from Tues.–Sat., between 11:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.. If you don’t see Brian there, you can just pop inside the restaurant and ask for Uncle B himself!
