This time last year I met the one and only Mr. JT Morgan from First Edition WCOJ 1420am on the red carpet at WC Dish’s premier sponsorship of the Chester County Restaurant Festival. It was a meeting that was meant to be. Ever since that Sunday, I’ve spent every Friday morning on his show talking about all things food.
The segment is now called “Eat, Drink and Meet Mary” and has brought some fun, interesting, disgusting, educational and outright hilarious food discussions this year to West Chester early on Friday mornings. I wanted to make sure we celebrated our 1-year anniversary in a BIG way, so I got JT some special gifts.
I originally thought flowers would be a nice way to celebrate our time together. But, then I thought, “that’s just silly…it’s a FOOD show.” So, I did what anyone would do and I bought him the BIGGEST rice crispy treat I’ve EVER seen. To match the treat I got a gigantic card that said I Love You THIS Much and some some chocolate syrup to write a special message on the rice crispy treat.
(I think JT had some trouble reading a card that big.)
We spent most of the show talking about our favorite moments from the year. He’s the best on-air personality and over-all-bestest-guy-ever guy I could ask for.
