On December 5, 1933, the 21st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, repealing the 18th Amendment and bringing an end to the era of national prohibition of alcohol in America.
World of Beer in Exton is celebrating Repeal Day with a party on Monday, December 5, from 6–9 p.m. WOB is turning back the clock to a time when just $.10 (yes, ten cents!) will get you your first Yuengling Lager, a beer from America’s oldest brewery.
If you can’t make it to Monday’s party, World of Beer has plenty of other fun events planned this week, including a limited release of Bell’s 2015 Cherry Stout on Tuesday and Sunday FunDay Happy Hour on Sunday, December 11.
