This is a reminder that Green Valleys Association’s “A Taste of Place,” will take place on Friday, September 19, 2008, from 6-9pm on the Welkinweir grounds and estate house. As of today, the weather prediction looks brilliant. We will feature wine from three local vineyards, beer from two local breweries, food from local restaurants (some of the food will be locally grown), cheese made in West Vincent, and live, local music. And on top of all that, we will briefly convene at 6:30pm for our annual meeting to elect our new board members, and experience our Director of Watershed Advocacy’s “flights” on Google Earth around our area.
Join us in getting more familiar with our locally produced wine, beer and food, listen to wonderful music of Mason Porter, www.masonporter.com , enjoy the beautiful natural setting, get to know your neighbors, and help support GVA’s mission to “Protect and preserve the quantity and quality of water resources in northern Chester County through advocacy and education.”
Members are free, non-members may attend for $20 each or join that evening at a discounted rate of $20/individual or $40/family!
