Since the competition at the West Chester Chili Cook-off is smokin’
hotsmokin’ hot, the chili gods have decided to give every chili lover
who comes to the cook-off THREE WOODEN NICKELS to vote for their
favorite chili as they travel the three blocks of the cook-off versus
a single wooden voting nickel like in years past.
Jeannie McGinn, of McGinn Marketing Works and Marketing Chairperson
for the West Chester Rotary Chili Cook-off says, “We are blown away by
the immense support the community has given to this year’s Rotary
Chili Cook-off. I’m pleased to announce that we will have a record
number of 70 teams competing this year on Gay Street. We want Chili
fans to vote more often, or at least once a block, and not feel like
they have to try everyone’s chili. The feedback I hear the most is I
wish I could have voted for more than one team’s chili since there are
so many really tasty ones. So this year we updated the rules to allow
for more voting.”
