The 2nd Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest returns to Side Bar & Restaurant on Wed., Oct. 26, beginning at 8 pm.
Whether you are a self-proclaimed carver that could conquer any competition, or you’re simply interested in having a great fall night out, this event at Side Bar is for you! The East Gay Street restaurant will provide the pumpkins and carving tools, and all you have to do is arrive jump-packed with creativity. Prizes will be awarded to the best carvings, with prizes including a Dinner for Two gift certificate to the restaurant.
In honor of Wednesday’s event, the gang at Side Bar will additionally tap several seasonal beers, including Southampton’s Pumpkin Ale, Ace’s Pumpkin Cider, and even, Victory’s DarkDevil (the mutant beer mash-up of HopDevil and Storm King). Also, we received a heads up that you should definitely not skip a Pumpkin Bomb from the bartenders.
