Side Bar & Restaurant Introduces Tapas Mondays with Michael Walsh & Chef Blaise

 

Do you like variety? Do you like going to a restaurant and just ordering a bunch of small plates? Dig complimentary wine, too? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, we highly suggest you make “Tapas Mondays” of Side Bar & Restaurant a regular part of your weekly routine.

Hosted by Majestic Wine’s Wine Educator Michael Walsh and Side Bar’s Chef Blaise, the Gay Street-based restaurant will be presenting food and wine tapas pairings influenced by Spain, Chile and Argentina.  Michael will be in-house every other Monday from 5-9 pm (beginning Oct. 3) sampling wine and sharing his knowledge of varying varietals and eats from around the world.

Side Bar’s premiering Tapas Monday menu will feature stewed octopus, fritto misto, Spanish omelets, duck hot dogs, bison burgers, mixed olive and cheese, cured ham with roasted green pepper and Manchego on toast, and sausage meatballs with tomato sauce.
