Old Eagle Tavern continues its Dinner, Beer, and a Movie Night series on Sunday, September 29, with the series finale of Breaking Bad at 9 p.m. Specials will run all day, including a Breaking Bad–inspired beer list and a specialty dish from Chef Rich Benussi.
The fifth season will be on all day at Old Eagle Tavern—with an intermission for the Eagles game—until the finale airs at 9 p.m. The highly anticipated Emmy Award–winning series finale will be on the TV at the bar.
The featured draft list of beers inspired by characters of the show will all be $1 off while Breaking Bad is playing. The character-inspired beer list includes:
- Skyler White: Flying Dog Raging Bitch IPA, a Belgian style IPA
- Jesse Pinkman: Two Brothers Sidekick Pale Ale, an American extra pale ale
- Drug Culture: Boulders Beer Hazed & Infused, an American dry-hopped ale
- Walter White: Special TBA beer on the day of event
Additionally, Breaking Bad fans will also enjoy a fried chicken platter from Los Pollos Hermanos, the fictional fast food chain with a bad habit from the show. Chef Rich Benussi will prepare a southwestern fried chicken meal just like the White family, Mexican gangsters and the DEA all enjoyed throughout the series.
