Wrong! Southern Cross Kitchen has teamed up with the makers of Jefferson’s Bourbon to create a fantastic evening of food, drink and fun. With a minimum of 30 days notice, the restaurant will age a personal barrel of Jefferson’s “Very Small Batch” Bourbon just for you. Create your own personal flavor of Jefferson’s bourbon, and guests will also have the unique opportunity to craft their own barrel-aged cocktails with Jefferson’s “Ridiculously Small Batch” bourbon. Southern Cross Kitchen will pair the bourbon with butlered hors d’oeuvres that include:
Assortment of Di Bruno Brothers Cheese
Scallops Wrapped in Bacon with Spicy BBQ Sauce
Andouille Sausage with Grainy Mustard
Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail with Bloody Mary Dip
Short Rib Sliders with Horseradish Mayo and Blu Cheese
Mac and Cheese Spoons
Baby Lamb Chops with Mint Pesto
Chicken Jambalaya
The cost is $1500 (with tax and service) and includes a barrel of Jefferson’s Bourbon, hors d’oeuvres for up to 25 friends and a keepsake bourbon barrel etched with the host’s name and date of the event.
