Chestnut Hill Experiences a New Business Boom

The Chestnut Hill Business District has announced that five new businesses have or will soon open on Germantown Ave. in the past few months and one shop has moved up the Avenue into a larger space to accommodate its rapid expansion.

“Chestnut Hill attracts new shops and restaurants because of the vitality and success of our commercial corridor” said Martha B. Sharkey, Executive Director of the Chestnut Hill Business District. “We believe the integration of new stores with long-time businesses such as Kilian’s Hardware, Robertson’s Flowers, and McNally’s Tavern keeps our business district unique and exciting for our customers.”
