Your Complete Guide to Kennett Square’s 29th Annual Mushroom Festival

For the fungi-loving public and those who simply appreciate a good outdoor party, it’s time to save the date for the Annual Mushroom Festival in Kennett Square. On September 6 and 7, the Kennett Square area will be host to the 29th year of the festival.

Mushroom Fest

As the Mushroom Capital of the World, it is only fitting that Kennett Square would be the host of a celebration of this magnitude. Take part in a fried mushroom eating contest, view mushroom-inspired art, purchase mushroom-themed items from vendors and, of course, sample a fine collection of mushroom fare.

Not into mushrooms but want to enjoy the festivities? No problem! There will be plenty of other non-mushroom related activities taking place, including an antique and classic car show, entertainment and activities for the kids, cooking demos and the Mushroom Walk/Run.
