PA Eats is a proud media sponsor of Phoenixville Food Festival.
Food trucks are a popular culinary concept sweeping the nation these days. And, for good reason. These mobile restaurants offer plenty of culinary choices in a multitude of locations. Want to experience a food truck festival at its best? Saturday, May 3, noon–6 p.m. is the day to do so. The Phoenixville Food Truck Festival will offer a wide array of food trucks with plenty of food choices on the menu.
In anticipation for the main event, we chit-chatted with one of the mobile attendees, the Philly-founded Little Baby’s Ice Cream, who will be slinging fine-tuned, innovative icy treats for festival-goers on the hunt for a life-changing cool down.
Meet Little Baby’s Ice Cream
PA Eats: What will you be serving for the 2014 May Phoenixville Food Festival and why should attendees make sure they don’t miss it?
Little Baby’s will be serving a variety of small-batch, hand-made, super-premium ice creams and non-dairy frozen desserts. Our flavors are unique and often surprising, and cannot be found anywhere else!
How long have you been in the food truck business and what inspired you to “take the plunge”?
This is our fourth season as a mobile food vendor and we’re still excited.
Did you participate in last year’s festival?
Last year’s festival was our first appearance in Phoenixville and we’re excited to return.
Take a look at the current list of vendors. Which participant are you excited to sample or which one are you already very fond of and why (try not to choose yourself)?
We’re looking forward to gobbling up lots of tasty food from our pals at Gigi & Big R’s, one of our favorite food trucks.
Outside of this food festival, where/when can we find your food truck offerings?
We operate two shops in Philadelphia and our pints can be found at specialty grocery stores and co-ops throughout the region.
