Swingin’ Summer Thursdays 

With four dates slotted throughout the summer (June 5, July 10, August 7 and September 4), West Chester natives always look forward to Swingin’ Summer Thursdays. And what’s not to like about live music, great food and over 40 different vendors coming together? Our thoughts exactly! Make your way to the heart of West Chester from 6:30-9:30 p.m. for a swingin’ good time.

Vintage Garage Sale

You know how most garage sales don’t actually happen in a garage? Well, ladies and gents, this Vintage Garage Sale actually takes place in the Chestnut St. Parking Garage (14 E. Chestnut St.) in downtown West Chester. Stroll through the garage which hosts plenty of vendors selling the most awesome of vintage finds. And what’s a little shopping without some great eats and drinks? Don’t worry, they’ve got you covered there too. Enjoy some delicious sips and bites from local food trucks while you browse the awesome shopping selections. Join them for the remaining 4 sales on June 6, August 8, September 5 and October 3.

Summer Camps

If you’re looking to switch up your usual summer routine with the kiddos, West Chester Parks and Recreation has plenty of options in that department for children ages 5-14. Pick up an application at the Parks and Recreation department to register for any of the different summer camps offered. Registration deadline is June 11.

Super Sunday

Summers are made for street festivals, don’t you agree? Join in the fun as West Chester Parks and Recreation proudly host Super Sunday on June 1, 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Walk the streets of downtown West Chester as you munch your way through the various food vendors that will be serving up only the most delicious bites. There will be plenty of entertainment for adults and children alike. Be sure to take in a set from one of the 4 local bands performing that day.
