Whole Foods Market Opens Cherry Hill Store with Pickle Bar, House Sausage & More Unique Features

We had assumed that Whole Foods Market had already thought of everything culinary creativity had to offer. From chef competitions to cooking classes to selling local beer in-house, these folks just don’t quit. Well, friends, Whole Foods has done it again. The market has opened up a new location in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and what the spot is offering is definitely brag-worthy.

Our attention was first drawn to the 1300+ solar panels on the roof of the building. Whole Foods definitely takes “going green” seriously. The store has also installed energy-saving green doors throughout the building, a big thumbs up in our book. This addition to the Whole Foods Market family has also created new jobs—138, to be exact. Stimulating the economy and saving Planet Earth. We told you, they just won’t stop.

Dive into the delicious side of Whole Foods Cherry Hill and check out some of the highlights from the newest location:

  • Made-in-house game sausage
  • The only seafood department in the Mid-Atlantic offering certified kosher seafood
  • Pickle bar
  • Organic espresso bar
  • Bagels boiled and baked in-house
  • Wood-fired rotisserie pizza and chicken oven
  • House-made mozzarella, seasonal salad dressings, tortilla chips and kettle corn

Whole Foods Cherry Hill has also opened up a space they’re calling “The Hatchery,” which will host an entrepreneurial area for local artisans to sell their merchandise directly to customers. In addition, the store is making room for an in-house artist to showcase his or her talents while you’re perusing the aisles.
