A new piece of outdoor artwork will be greeting residents and visitors when they enter Phoenixville—the new “Welcome to Phoenixville” mural!
Teresa Haag is the artist behind this large masterpiece and is creating the perfect visual to welcome those who cross the city lines. The mural will be located on the Marly’s Restaurant wall, located near Starr and Bridge Streets, and will add an additional artistic vibe to an already art-laden town. There will be both a black-and-white and colorful aspect to the mural for that ideal, all-encompassing look. Teresa will highlight industrial aspects as well as a view of the Schuylkill River.
The next time you’re in Phoenixville, take a walk by or drive past this mural, which is currently in the works, and see the progress made on a day-to-day basis.
