You Can’t Miss These: Limited Release Salted Caramel Budino Donuts

Chef Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran of Barbuzzo are preparing for the super limited release of their Salted Caramel Budino Donuts on April 17 and 18. They’ll be on sale beginning at 10 a.m. at the Marcie Blaine Chocolate counter in Verde for $4 each. And once they’ve sold out, that’s a wrap, folks.

In order to achieve this donut-y nirvana, Chef Turney fills a vanilla glazed yeast donut with her special caramel budino pudding. She then rolls said donut in a salted caramel crunch topping and garnishes it with dark chocolate cookie crumbs and sprinkles a few grains of Fleur de Sel sea salt to finish. Did that just blow your mind?
