Election day will finally be here tomorrow. No matter who you are voting for, these cocktails created by Galley, the nautical-themed bar and restaurant at the Hilton West Palm Beach, are the perfect election night drinks to help you celebrate—or drown your sorrows.
The presidential-themed cocktails include The Bad Hombres, a combination of Milagro Anejo, Ancho Reyes, sour mix and orange juice; The Deplorable, which includes grenadine, Blue Curaçao and layered Tito’s Vodka under a bed of bubbly; and Putin’s Puppet, a tasty blend of Stoli vodka, ginger beer, lime juice and cranberry juice. The Bad Hombres
Ingredients
- Salt and chili powder rimmed glass
- 1.5 oz. Milagro Anejo
- .5 oz. Ancho Reyes
- 2 oz. sour mix
- .5 oz. orange juice
Method
Strain over big ice into specialty martini class. Add jalapeño garnish.
The Deplorable
Ingredients
- Sugar rimmed martini glass
- 1 oz. grenadine
- .5 oz. Blue Curaçao
- 1 oz. Tito’s Vodka
- 2 oz. prosecco
Method
Pour grenadine into martini glass. Shake together Blue Curaçao and vodka and layer on top of grenadine. Slowly add prosecco. Garnish with strawberry and blueberries on skewer.
Putin’s Puppet
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz. Stoli Vodka
- 2 oz. ginger beer
- Splash of lime juice
- 1 oz. cranberry juice
Method
- Mix ingredients and pour over ice. Garnish with lime.
