Applesauce

Wonderfully sweet and flavorful without any added sugar, Weaver’s applesauce is made from a Weaver family recipe using a blend of homegrown apples. Applesauce comes in two flavors: plain and cinnamon. Take our advice and pick up more than one jar of each flavor. Once your family tastes it, they won’t be able to get enough!

Apple Butter

Never heard of apple butter? Allow Weaver’s to introduce you to this creamy spread, home-made by slow-cooking several varieties of Weaver’s home-grown apples with the orchard’s award-winning apple cider and a blend of aromatic spices. An all-natural treat, apple butter is pretty much the perfect taste of fall. Try it spread on fresh-baked bread, your morning toast or an English muffin.

Apple Cider

Weavers Apple Cider

Known far and wide for its slightly tart, slightly sweet taste, Weaver’s fresh apple cider has bested other ciders from Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey with several awards at the Mid-Atlantic Apple Cider Contest over the years. The preservative-free cider boasts a blend of at least five varieties of Weaver’s own apples and is pressed on site from September to May. Curious how it’s made? Catch a glimpse of the cider-making process during select Fall Family Fun Days.

Apple Cider Donuts, Apple Fries & Caramel Apples

Weaver’s also uses its apples to create treats for all you dessert lovers out there (and who doesn’t love dessert?). Apple cider donuts are made on site with Weaver’s cider. We dare you to eat just one! Cider donuts are available seasonally only, so don’t miss out. Home-made apple fries and caramel apples are offered during Fall Family Fun Days. For the fries, peeled apples are cut using a French fry cutter; the apples are then coated in cornstarch and lowered into a deep fryer of canola oil for approximately three minutes. When they emerge, fries are sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar and served with a side of caramel for dipping. The word around the street is that they taste just like mini apple pies! Get the full story on apple fries on the Weaver’s Orchard website.

The time is now to celebrate the almighty apple. Take a trip to Weaver’s Orchard and get picking (and eating)!
