Come get crabby with Normandy Farm—they’ve got the mother load on Thursday, September 8, from 6–9 p.m. and the tickets are getting clawed up fast. Pick your way through 28 bushels of the “let’s get a little messy and enjoy” tasty crustaceans with all the trimmings. That’s about 3,000 hardshell steamed Maryland crabs that will be ready for you to tear into as you celebrate the end of yet another fantastic summer.
As part of the popular Craft & ‘Que Series, delve into a feast in the true tradition of elbow-to-elbow noshing of crabs, Eastern Shore crab soup, a full raw bar of oysters and shrimp, corn on the cob, house-made crab cakes and a huge menu of complementing dishes (and desserts) to satiate every appetite. Bibs, mallets, knives and picks are provided, but be sure to bring your best fingerwork (and appetite) to rollick in the revelry.
Welcomed back for a second year will be the talented folks of Victory Brewing Company, who’ll be supplying endless gulps of local favorite Summer Love light-bodied ale to wash down the mouth-watering grub. What’s not to love?
Sway to the smooth, mellow sounds of Philadelphia singer-songwriter Tim Williams, who is fresh off of the release of his second studio album, Blue Ribbon. Tim has earned the reputation of being one of the hardest working solo acoustic acts in the nation today, playing over 300 live shows annually on stages ranging from New York and Key West to LA and everywhere in between.
Still think Normandy Farm is messing around? Check out this review from one of last year’s satisfied guests:
“We gave my dad a ticket to this event with my husband for his 80 birthday and I have to tell you it was the best money ever spent. My dad is still talking about it and how wonderful it was. My husband and dad have gone to numerous beer fests and some had food and some did not. I do a lot of event planning for my company, and I know what goes into doing an event like this. They are talking about when the next event would be and they cannot wait to return. Thank you so much for such a wonderful job and you will see them back again. Keep up the great work and glad you had such a beautiful night for the event. A very happy, satisfied attendee. You made my dad and husband’s night. NORMANDY DID GREAT!” —N.
