Downtown West Chester has become a weekend destination for bar-seekers of all ages. One thing most bar patrons share in common is the desire for late-night eats after a few drinks. From sandwiches to slices, we’ve compiled the complete list of eateries that are open late at night and early into the morning.
Pizza
America’s Pie
Open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, America’s Pie is “so much more than pizza!” For your next order, try a specialty pie and even try ordering online via GrubHub. 323 E. Gay St., (484) 947-5115
Amore Pizza
Amore is a great late-night option throughout the week, as it’s open until midnight on Monday to Wednesday. The hours extend until 1 a.m. on Thursday and 2:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Expect a lively crowd on weekend nights! 316 S. High St., (610) 430-1800
Chris’s Pizza

Culinary Deliveries
Domino’s Pizza
Lorenzo & Sons Pizza
With plans to open a location at the corner of High and Gay streets in the heart of West Chester, Lorenzo and Sons Pizza of South Philadelphia aims to become the go-to pizza location in town. The home of the iconic 28-inch pizza will likely be open until 4 a.m., but details are still being hammered out. 27 N. High St., (484) 999-8756
Papa John’s
Papa John’s will be moving from its current location on corner of Linden and High streets in the coming months. Like Lorenzo’s, details are still being worked out. The new location will be opened in the plaza anchored by Urgent Care, directly across from the Gay Street Plaza. This shouldn’t affect late-night deliveries. 701 S. High St., (610) 344-7272
Riggtown Oven
Fans of Jake’s Bar don’t have to walk far to get their late-night slice. Riggtown Oven is directly next door under the same roof as Jake’s. If you’re familiar with the corner of South Matlack and East Nields streets, you’ve witnessed the mammoth lines leading into Riggtown on one of the busiest corners south of Market Street. From Thursday to Saturday, Riggtown is open until 3 a.m. 551 S. Matlack St., (610) 431-3900
Saucey
In late 2011, Dave “Big Harv” Harvey opened Saucey just off the bustling corner of Market and High streets. Due to its walking distance from a great deal of the bars on the main drag, Saucey has become the de facto after-hours stop for pub-goers. Open until 3 a.m. on Thursday through Saturday, Saucey serves up creative pies like the chicken-bacon-ranch (CBR) and the 420, which includes diced mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers and french fries. 12 E. Market St., (610) 696-9770
Sandwiches
Buddy’s Burgers
On Thursday through Saturday, Buddy’s stays open until 3 a.m. to offer an alternative to the usual late-night slice. With customizable burger options and hand-cut fries, Buddy’s can help you stave off the looming hangover after a night out. 11 W. Gay St., (484) 631-1006
Calios
Calios is a new calzone and sandwich shop located a stone’s throw from Domino’s Pizza on Gay Street. With free delivery and hours until 4 a.m., Calios offers a new menu to try out. 237 E. Gay St., (610) 431-2254
Jimmy John’s
Jimmy John’s can be found on the ground floor of the new 124 Marketplace apartments. The sandwich shop is open until 3 a.m. every night with extended hours until 4 a.m. on Thursday to Saturday. With the cold weather settling in, you might want to opt for delivery on your next late-night order. 124 E. Market St., (610) 696-7772
Diners
Rams Diner
Opened during the latter part of 2015, Rams Diner is found just south of the West Chester University campus by the Parkway Shopping Center. When you’re done for the evening, grab a cab and grub on something breakfast food because Rams Diner is open 24 hours. 907 S. High St., (610) 701-8080
West Chester Diner
Although it’s located a little bit outside of the borough, the West Chester Diner is “open 25 hours” and offers all of your breakfast favorites. This is the stop to make when you have a designated driver. 1147 West Chester Pike, (610) 692-9000
