For an innovative camp with an agricultural theme, check out Milky Way Farm this summer.
The summer camp for children ages 4–11 focuses on farm-centric fun with learning along the way. The camp offers two choices, based on age:
- Little Farmer Summer Day Camp: 5 days, from 9:30 a.m.–noon, for children ages 4–6
- Fantastic Farm Fun 1, 2, 3 Camp: 5 days, from 9:30 a.m.–2 p.m., for children ages 7–11
The Little Farmer Summer Day Camp will feature activities suitable for the young ones, such as creative “Down on the Farm” experiences with the resident farm animals, literature and crafts, as well as making an ABC book for each child to take home. For the older day campers, the Fantastic Farm Fun 1, 2, 3 camp will offer butter, cheesemaking and ice cream activities; clay crafts; painting; tie-dying; iMovies; and more.
