It’s no news flash that Victory Brewing Company has been in the forefront of the craft beer revolution, delivering a dizzying array of brews in virtually every style. What is news is the 21-year-old stalwart’s new Tank to Table™ Series featuring small-batch, experimental and extremely limited releases.
The inspiration? Certainly Victory’s brewers’ passion, creativity and curiosity. But just as important to Tank to Table’s birth is consumer interest. Victory is listening and rewarding its customers’ fierce loyalty.
“What’s interesting is we’ve been on this upward arch of increasing brewery scale,” said co-founder and co-brewmaster Bill Covaleski. “Still, true to our roots, we see a brewpub as a place to sample things. Enter our half-barrel setup in Parkesburg, a place we can brew any wild notion and get instant customer feedback.”
That feedback helps Victory choose the Tank to Table series beers they’ll brew in the Kennett Square brewpub’s nimble 7-barrel system. From there, it’s off to the canning line.
Get ready for the first of five fresh offerings: a Double IPA featuring 100% Cashmere hops. The brew will be released on Saturday, February 25, at 1 p.m. at all three Victory brewpubs in an extremely limited 50-case inaugural release. The dank 9.0% ABV Double IPA is sure to tickle your taste buds with hints of juicy fruit, such as pineapple, mango and orange peel. The cans will be sold singularly ($4), in 4-packs ($16) and in 24-pack suitcases ($80). Future pricing will vary by release.
What will release next? And when? (Hint: sometime in February!)
Keep a close eye on Victory’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for the inside scoop on each release.
“These releases are a nod to those who are most keen on the process and freshness,” Bill added. “And, we heard our customers about release dates! Not everyone can come out during the week, like they do for Dark Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. Expect Tank to Table brews to launch on evenings and weekends, too. But move quickly: history shows our special releases sell out fast.”
Much of the initial Tank to Table beers are hop-focused, showcasing some unique and limited variety hops that Victory has acquired. But because the program pays homage to experimental ingredients, recipes and techniques, you never know what may will flow from the tank to your table. One thing’s for sure: you won’t be disappointed. And that comes from the top.
“We will not let you down,” Bill said.
Never a doubt.
