Grand Opening Announced for Wissahickon Brewing Company (April 1)

Great news: Wissahickon Brewing Company will swing open the brewery doors for its grand opening on Saturday, April 1, at 2 p.m. Wissahickon Brewing is a family business owned by Tim Gill, his wife Lisa and their four children, Tim, Meg, Luke and Pete. The elder Tim started as a home brewer several years ago after receiving a kit for Father’s Day.

Wissahickon will be open from 2–10 p.m. for a day full of brews, food trucks, live music and games. The opening tap list includes:

  • Czech, Please! Bohemian pilsner
  • Kelpius Kave Belgian Strong
  • Devil’s Pool Imperial IPA
  • Experimental Pale Ale
  • Raisin Cane Winter Seasonal

Foolish Waffles and Surf and Turf Truck will be on site offering an array of options to go along with your beers. Wissahickon Brewing Company is pet friendly and will have water bowls and water available for your furry friends.
