Merriment on Main Street
Experience all the charm of a tucked away village along the main thoroughfare through The Outlet Shoppes. Thousands of twinkly lights adorn the trees and buildings along Main Street, creating a magical experience.
Soak up the atmosphere from a cozy carriage ride! Every Friday and Saturday from now until December 23, free horse-drawn carriage rides will be offered along Main Street from 5–8 p.m. There’s no need to sign up in advance—just come to the Food Court and climb aboard!
Black Friday Fun
Though The Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, the shoppes are back in action bright and early on Black Friday, opening at 6 a.m. for all the early risers on November 24. All weekend long, the already-stellar savings will be kicked up a notch to celebrate the most exciting shopping event of the year!
At 5 p.m. on Black Friday, Santa will arrive by carriage for the first of his many appearances in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Bring the kids for storytime and photos with Old Saint Nick in the Food Court on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as a few Fridays, through December 23. A Very Exciting VIP Contest
If you’re not already a VIP Member, now is the perfect time to sign up for this free club that includes many perks, including exclusive offers and invitations to special events! The Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg is currently holding its biggest contest of the season: Everyone who registers to become a VIP [by signing up in the Food Court] is entered into a drawing to win a free 10-foot octagon gazebo from The Barnyard Store and The Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg, valued at $3,700. The gazebo is on display in the Food Court, so you can take a good look at it and think lucky thoughts while you sign up to become a VIP Member! The contest is running from November 1 through December 24.
Magical Traditions
While you’re in the Food Court, be sure to take a look at the beautiful trees submitted by local nonprofits as part of the Annual Tree Decorating Contest. Christmas Tree Hill and The Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg are co-hosting this friendly competition, and local nonprofits put their most festive foot forward in hopes of winning the $500 cash prize for their organizations and agencies. Best of all, you get to be the judge! From November 16–December 24, shoppers are invited to peruse the entries in the Food Court and vote for their favorite trees.
Also on display in the Food Court is a new charming mural by local artist, Marty Mummert.
4 Weeks of Winning
As if this wasn’t enough holiday fun, there is one more fantastic contest to up the excitement ante at The Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg: 4 Weeks of Winning. Here’s how it works: from November 17–December 15, shoppers can bring their receipts to the Customer Service office (located behind Old Navy) and enter to win one of four (4) fabulous holiday packages, each valued at $500!

- Week 1: Kitchen Collection package, including a KitchenAid mixer with attachments, bakeware, a wine bottle opener, wine glasses and more.
