Calling all Lancaster residents! Are you ready to unleash your inner artist? Join the thriving Lancaster art community for Untitled Lancaster, a community art exhibition featuring over 100 local artists of all ages showcasing their creative talent in 10-by-10 inch panels. The art exhibit has no theme, which is why it’s “Untitled.”
Get your creative juices flowing while supporting the local art scene! The finished masterpieces will be proudly displayed at Levengoods of Lancaster throughout the month of October. The panels will be on sale, too, with 30% of the proceeds going to Lancaster Public Art and 70% to the artist.
You can register to participate in Untitled Lancaster either in person at the Lancaster City Visitors Center or online. You can pick up your panel at The Art Store, Inc. on E. King Street in Lancaster.
The entry fee is $30 for adults, $20 for students (must show ID) and $10 for children under age 10 with a parent entry. Limit one panel per artist. All entry fees benefit future public art projects of Lancaster.
You must drop off your finished panel during the weekend of September 27‒28 from noon‒9 p.m. at Levengoods. The panels will be on display from October 6‒28, which also happens to coincide with the Lancaster ArtWalk and 2017 Governor for the Arts Week. There’ll be an opening reception on Friday, October 6, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Levengoods.
