Yards Brewing Company is taking its vision one step further with the move to a new Yards Brewery and Taproom at 500 Spring Garden Street, set to open this November.
The 70,000-square-foot facility will feature a culinary menu filled with specialty creations at the hands of James Beard Award semifinalist chef James Burke. Some of the starting dishes will include a Yards patty melt with brawler onions and Swiss cheese, crab toast with Calabrian chilies and chives, smoked cheddar bratwurst with sauerkraut and housemade mustard, bison chili served with maple cornbread, Tavern Porter and espresso chocolate mousse and many other delicious comfort food items.
The beer selection will include 20 taps of Yards Brewing Company favorites as well as some limited releases, which will be available in the taproom only. The interior will present an open floor plan with 360-degree views of the brewing operation, including the new can line operation, which will be constructed in 2018. The taproom will comfortably accommodate 280 guests and also include a brewer’s lounge, where crowds can entertain themselves by playing pool, darts and shuffleboard. There will also be an outdoor space for guests to sip brews and socialize as well as a separate event space on the second floor, which will be able to accommodate parties of up to 200 guests.
Once open, the hours of operation at Yards Brewery and Taproom will be 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11:30 a.m.–11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
