Boardroom Spirits, the award-winning craft distillery that has been rocking the craft spirits game in Lansdale, Pennsylvania since its founding in 2016, recently unveiled its newly expanded distillery and tasting room. To recognize the occasion, Lansdale’s Mayor Garry Herbert issued a proclamation that November 2, 2018 will be recognized as “Boardroom Spirits Day” in the borough, and named Boardroom the official “spirit of Lansdale.”
The expansion adds 2,400 square feet to Boardroom’s distillery, and the newly unveiled tasting room and bar includes two bathrooms, shuffleboard and a large bar, as well as space for chefs and caterers. The tasting room’s cocktail menu has undergone a refresh, too, with new cocktails like the Knee Buckler with Northbound Rye, FRESH Ginger, lime and honey, and the Made MAI TAI with rum, spiced rum, triple sec, lime and house-made orgeat.
On the production side, an automated bottling line plus an additional 528-gallon still by Hungarian company Hagyo Distilling were installed. All of this expansion will allow Boardroom to distill four times as much product without sacrificing quality.
The expansion will continue with a second phase, including an update to the exterior façade, landscaping and completion of a warehouse next door.
“It is truly inspiring to see how far we’ve come since my brother, my wife, and I first dreamed of owning a distillery,” said Marat Mamedov, co-owner and founder at Boardroom Spirits. “To be able to grow in the place we call home is rewarding and we’re thankful for the support of the community, every day.”
