We were truly disappointed to come across this message on the Levante at the Stables’ Facebook page yesterday:
Levante Brewing Company regrets to inform the public that we will not be re-opening “Levante at the Stables” this summer.
The intention last year was to create a “pop up” establishment and then reevaluate things for the 2018 season. The landowner has decided that going forward, a mixed use, entertainment facility would be of greater benefit to the community.
Unfortunately, our license doesn’t permit us to participate in a mixed use facility.
Levante at the Stables was a magical moment for our little company. We’re hopeful that we shined a light on what could be a fantastic opportunity to develop the Stables property even further, and provide an even better experience for the Upper Uwchlan community.

Last June, this beloved indoor/outdoor beer garden opened as a partnership with Split Rail Tavern and immediately became the go-to summer hangout spot in Chester Springs.
According to the public response to the Facebook post, we’re not the only ones disappointed to hear that Levante at the Stables won’t be back this summer. Currently, the Facebook post has 710 reactions, 273 shares and 452 comments, the vast majority of them bemoaning this turn of events. Here’s to hoping that something else community-minded and unique comes to the Stables and, we’ll keep our eye on Levante Brewing — we’d wager that there will be another pop-up beer garden of some sort in its future.
