La Piña Valley Cantina is the latest dining spot to hit the Chadds Ford scene and this upscale casual Mexican restaurant is bringing to the neighborhood modern Mexican cuisine with a tequila and mezcal beverage focus.

Owned by David and Fay Steiger, the new spot, located at 95 Wilmington-West Chester Pike in the Garnet Valley Plaza shopping center, is now open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week. La Piña Valley Cantina offers an enticing menu filled with all of your Mexican favorites and perhaps some new bites for you to try, as well.
Some of the culinary items offered by Executive Chef Angel Diaz include tableside guacamole, short rib empanada, tuna ceviche, spicy shrimp tacos, chicken tinga tacos, tostadas and more. A Cena menu is available after 4 p.m., with decadent dishes such as the la piña molcajete, mole chicken and seared red snapper highlighting the menu.
La Piña Valley Cantina is also your go-to location for tequila and mezcal, with more than 70 different options up for grabs. For the wine-sipping crowd, there is a focus on Latin wines, with options coming from a variety of regions.
The interior features a number of different seating options, including hi-tops, low tables and bar seating, and offers a welcoming vibe with warm, dark color tones offset by a colorful mural on the dining area wall.
La Piña Valley Cantina is open every day: Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m.–11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.–1 a.m.
