Last month, OpenTable, the online reservation website, dropped its “Top 100 Best Brunch Restaurants” list, which named a handful of Pennsylvania restaurants among the winners. This month it’s back with another: “100 Best Al Fresco Restaurants in America” — just in time for summer!
This time, three Pennsylvania spots made the cut:
- 1906, the fine dining restaurant at Longwood Gardens: The world-class gardens at this Kennett Square destination provide a stunning backdrop for an equally lovely meal. 1001 Longwood Rd., Kennett Square; (610) 388-5290
- Parc, Stephen Starr’s wildly popular French brasserie adjacent to Rittenhouse Square: The café chairs lining the restaurant’s exterior on 18th Street are the ultimate “see-and-be-seen” seats in the city. 227 S. 18th St., Philadelphia; (215) 545-2262
- Talula’s Garden in Washington Square offers what every city-dweller craves: a slice of green amid the concrete and glass. The courtyard in this farm-to-table restaurant makes for the perfect oasis, with beautifully maintained flowers, herbs and greenery. 210 W. Washington Sq., Philadelphia; (215) 592-7787
Congrats to the winners! Where are your favorite places to eat and drink outdoors? Let us know in the comments.
