We’re so glad to see how many beer gardens are popping up these days — it seems like there is one in almost every community! And we just got word that another is in the works: a Sunday afternoon outdoor beer garden on the water in the historic town of Mortonville nearby Brandywine Outfitters. The liquor license will be provided by Saloon 151, which will also create the beverage program and serve food via its food truck.

While there are no details yet on the menus, given Saloon 151’s reputation as a great craft beer and whiskey bar, we assume there will be a number of solid local brews and easy-sipping cocktails on offer. The truck is known for its slow-cooked meats and hand-cut fries, and some customer favorites include:
- Cuban Fries: Hand cut fries (or tots or sweet fries) loaded up with slow-roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese and fried pickles, topped with housemade honey mustard.
- Quesadilla Burger: A savory ground patty, topped with pico, melted cheddar, lettuce and chipotle between two flour tortillas.
