Forget everything you assume about wineries: stuffy, snobby, serious. Chaddsford Winery, one of the oldest and most acclaimed wineries in PA (founded in 1982!), loves to have a good time. Every season, its calendar is full of fun, creative programming, whether that’s trick-or-treating in the fall or Baconfest in the spring.
Summer at CFW is all about camp: Adult Summer Camp!
On Saturday, July 20 and Saturday, July 27, slather on the sunscreen, grab an extra water bottle, and head out to this gorgeous property in the Brandywine Valley for a whole slew of awesome outdoor activities, including:
- Friendly team-based games like Corn Hole, Mad Libs, Case Box Challenge, Kickball, Volleyball and Riddling Rack Toss
- A tie dye t-shirt station where you can create a groovy tee to take home
- A build-your-own-burger bar lunch from Albie’s Burger Truck, with gourmet fixings, pescatarian and vegetarian options, great french fries, sangria popsicles, a drink ticket for wine or beer
- A specially-curated wine tasting with special Chaddsfored Winery wine cocktails
- A progressive Beer Tasting by Locust Lane Craft Brewery from Malvern, PA
On either camp Saturday, campers arrive anytime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and can pick up camp badges, which will be stamped at each station in order to earn extra drink tickets. Leave the heels at home: comfortable clothes and sneakers are encouraged! Tickets are $65 per person, and the rain dates for each day are Sunday, July 21 and Sunday, July 28.
