In Spring 2019, Sheetz released its first craft beer, a coffee-spiked IPA called Project Coffee Hopz, a collaboration with Rusty Rail Brewing Company, of Mifflinburg, PA. Now, it’s back with a second beer that also references a customer-favorite at this beloved chain: blueberry muffins.
Project Brewberry Muffinz is a limited-edition blueberry craft beer, made in partnership with Philadelphia-based Evil Genius Beer Company. Perfect for late summer, this new brew is a 6% ABV light-bodied blonde ale that’s actually infused with Sheetz’s Shweetz blueberry muffins. Beginning on Thursday, August 29, 16-ounce cans, sold by the 4-pack, will hit the shelves of 99 Sheetz locations across Pennsylvania, including locations in Altoona, Erie, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Pittsburgh, State College and York. Project Brewberry Muffinz is a small batch craft beer, so there are limited quantities, and it will not be restocked once it’s sold out!
Don’t forget to bring your ID, and show up early to grab a 4-pack of this berry awesome beer before it’s all gone!
