Victory Brewing Co. recently celebrated its 23rd anniversary in February, and is now kicking off its 24th year with some cool new releases. Always pushing at the forefront of innovation, this beloved local brewery has launched three new offerings, which will be available year-round. Here are the three new brews that are part of the Victory family of brands, each one available on draft, and in bottles and cans:
Cloud Walker
Jumping onto the New England-style IPA trend, Cloud Walker is a 6.8% ABV hazy, juicy IPA that’s dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic. Pouring a pretty orange, with a nice mouthfeel from the addition of lactose, each sip yields big tropical and fruity notes.
Twisted Monkey
One of Victory’s most recognizable beers, Golden Monkey, has gotten a tropical makeover: Twisted Monkey, a “Belgian-Style Blonde Ale with Mango.” The sweetness of mango is added to the same imported malt profile and Belgian yeast in the original Golden Monkey, but one difference is that, unlike the original which weighs in at a beefy 9.5% ABV, Twisted Monkey takes it a bit easier with 5.8% ABV.
No Brainer
Every craft drinker prizes an everyday IPA, right? That’s the theory behind No Brainer, generously hopped with Victory’s proprietary HopVic technology (the hop profile is all-American: Mandarina, Citra, Centennial and Azacca). Easy-going and food-friendly, the fruity and citrusy hops yield flavors of tangerine and mandarin orange.
