Winter is upon us! How are you going to make it through a frozen weeknight or a snowed-in weekend? When it’s time to snuggle up and stay in, brew up a hot toddy: a simple cocktail made of hot water or tea, honey or another sweetener and a nice glug of booze. We love this chai-spiced version from Single Prop Rum, a craft spirits company based in Trumbauersville, PA that makes a fantastic white rum made with coconut water. This is not the coconut rum of your youth — not “coconut flavored” rum, but rum made with fresh, young coconuts harvested from the coast of Nicaragua. The result, a clean tasting rum, redolent of sugarcane and coconuts, with whispers of banana and sugar apple and a silky mouthfeel, blends perfectly into cocktails, both cold and hot. Mix one up today for maximum cozy vibes.
